Will Todd, son of Jason Todd. In his absence, Will had been the person, of all people, to pick up his mantle as the Batman. And Bruce had not been happy about it. At all. He had read and spoke to his adopted sons at length about Will and his methods. It was almost as if he was Jason Todd two point oh, which was why he believed that Will didn’t have what it took to be Batman. It was almost having to deal with Jean-Paul Valley all over again. But the time for talking and discussing the situation was over, now it was time to confront the issue face to face. It was why he was now stealthily moving into Will’s headquarters, if one wanted to call it that. He knew that Will didn’t have much money, but he figured that if he had been running with the League that he would certainly have something better set up than he did.
After doing a quick survey of the place, Bruce was glad to see that Will wasn’t there. It meant now that Bruce could look over the place without Will’s presence. And look over it he did. He was glad to see that Will had at least managed to get his hands on some good hardware for his computers, but the layout seemed rather sloppy to Bruce. Not to mention that after looking through Will’s files, he noticed Will’s lack of real detective skills. That was something that Dick and Tim hadn’t told him about, though that was probably because they didn’t know. Either that or they didn’t want to upset him even more than they already had.
After putting Will’s system back into sleep mode, Bruce decided to check out Will’s armoury. It was decently stocked, though not as well stocked as he wouldn’t have figured. There were several items in particular that had really set Bruce’s blood on fire though. Several handguns, likely spares, were among the items in the armoury. If there was one thing Bruce didn’t like, it was guns. And here Will was actively using them. From underneath his cape, his fists clenched together. Just as he was getting ready to reach out and destroy them, the sound of the warehouse’s main door opening and the rumble of a batmobile caught his attention. At least Will had been able to get a car.
Making his way over to the entrance, the original Dark Knight stood out in the open with his cape draped over his body. As his icy blue eyes watched the vehicle from behind the lenses of his cowl, he stood tall with a cold look on his face as his fists remained clenched tightly underneath his cape.
