As Jake swung through Gotham City he saw the Bat Signal up in the air. He wasn't Batman but he was Nightwing and could help anyway he could. As he got to the rooftop they explained it was a bank robbery and Jake swung to the bank. He landed infront of the bank and realized it was locked. "This outta be fun!" he said and threw what his father called 'wing dings' (like a batarang) at the door. They stuck to the door and exploded, sending gas everywhere. He dove in, and brought out his staff, twirling it. Right as he jumped in he noticed he had a partner to help him against the bank robbers. He glanced over at the man who showed up. "It took you long enough!" Jake yelled and twirled his staff. He ran to the man who now had a hostage.
"Back off Birdy boy!" Bank robber number one said. Jake just grinned. Challenge accepted.

Bank robbers. It was a poor idea for anybody to rob a bank in Gotham. It was too much of a public place, and so it was high likely a vigilante would come down on you if you tried it. Unluckily for these robbers, they got two heroes.
"It took you long enough!" the young Nightwing chided as Will landed next to him.
The young hero annoyed Will for some reason he couldn't quite place. Maybe it was his constant jokes, or the fact he was quite cocky and full of himself. Another part it maybe down to the previous Nightwing and Will's Dad. The two seemed to hate each other, and so maybe his father's hatred for Nightwing was passed down.
"Just keep working," Will growled back, throwing a high kick into the face of one of the robbers.
"Back off Birdy boy!" one of the robbers yelled at Nightwing, and Will looked up and shot a glare towards the robber.
Will threw a smoke pellet at the feet of the man to assist Nightwing, before running into a couple of the men, cape flowing behind him. If Nightwing was willing to go out and fight, he wasn't going to fight for him while he was still standing, and he was being helpful to throw a smoke pellet. He really didn't like this guy.

As the new Batman popped up Jake was angered a bit. His parents hated each other, so he carried on the tradition. As Batman threw a smoke pellet, Jake saw his chance and hit the guy in the head, throwing him off. He let go of the hostage and Jake set her down on a counter. Jake swung the staff and knocked the gun out of the man's hand. Jake twirled the staff once again and hit the guy with a hard blow in the stomach. He pulled out one of his wing dings and ran to the tied up hostages. He began cutting the ropes off of all of them.
He ran to the Batman after getting all of the hostages and saw he was fighting a good three robbers. "Need some help?" Nightwing asked and threw a wing ding at one of their feet, whipping them out. He jumped over another robber and hit them in the back with the staff. Jake didn't try hard on this one, he needed to let Bats get some glory in the case.

Will moved swiftly, springing himself into the air and throwing out a foot into the back of a thug's head, taking the thug down to the ground roughly. In Will's mind this was only a fleeting stop for him, and as soon as he was done he was going to head off and do something more useful with his time than a petty bank robbery. Spending time in the proximity of Nightwing was also causing Will to want to leave more and more, and the thought that Nightwing might try and talk to him after the fight was enough to scare anybody away.
Will was confronted by 3 robbers, and he extended his arms, putting his fists out in front of him in a fighting stance. The three would be easy to deal with, and wouldn't cause him much bother, but within seconds of Will catching sight of the three, Nightwing had taken out two of them. Angry at the youth's interference, Will swung a solid fist into the throat of the final man, causing him to choke and fall back towards the ground.
"Need some help?" Nightwing asked smugly, and Will just glared back.
"I had it."

"I had it."[/b] the angry Batman had told him.
Nightwing grinned slyly before back flipping into a guys face, knocking him into the ground. "I know you did, but you didn't have it quick enough." He said simply, and twirled his staff clockwise in the air to rid the room of some of the smoke. As one more bank robber was left, the man took off running towards the door to escape. Quickly thinking Jake threw a wing ding at his feet and the man's legs tied together and he fell. Jake jumped through the air over towards the man and picked him up. "You have one chance to answer this. Who're you working for?" Nightwing barked at him, suddenly getting surprisingly serious. Jake removed the hood on the man to see a snake tattoo on his neck.
"No one! No one!" The man yelled. Jake pulled out his staff again and clicked the button, watching the blade pop out. "KOBRA! I WORK FOR KOBRA! WE'RE WORKING OUT OF THE GOTHAM HARBOR TONIGHT!" The man yelled again. Jake dropped him and cuffed him. He tied up the other knocked out bodies and looked over to Will.
"Want to help me with this case? We both know I'll need it." Jake admitted.
